Film Rampage 2018
Rampage merupakan film bergenre petualangan sains fiksi yang disesuaikan dari sebuah game arcade series berjudul “Rampage” karya dari Midway Game yang dirilis pada tahun 1986. Gamenya mempunyai 6 seri yaitu, Rampage (1986), Rampage World Tour (1997), Rampage 2: Universal Tour (1999), Rampage Through Time (2000), Rampage Puzzle Attack (2001) danRampage: Total Destruction (2006).
Dalam film ini, Ryan Engle (Non-Stop, The Commuter) yang akan menyebarkan alur dongeng bekerja sama dengan Carlton Cuse (The Strain, Jack Ryan), Ryan J. Condal (Hercules, Highlander) dan Adam Sztykiel (Alvin and the Chipmunks 5, Black Adam) dalam menciptakan skenario.
Film Rampage digarap oleh Brad Peyton (San Andreas, Just Cause) selaku produser sekaligus sutradara. Dalam dingklik produser, Brad bekerja sama dengan Beau Flynn (Baywatch, Murder Mystery), John Rickard (Final Destination 5, Midnight Sun) dan Hiram Garcia (Jumanji, Shazam).
Sebagai rumah produksi, New Line Cinema, Flynn Picture Company, Richard Pictures dan Seven Bucks Productions menghadirkan bintang film hollywood ternama, Dwanye Johnson (The Fate of the Furious, Red Notice) selaku pemeran utama.

Diproduksi oleh Warner Bros Pictures, Film Rampage dijadwalkan akan tayang pada pertengahan bulan April. Di Indonesia sendiri, Film Rampage akan tayang beberapa hari lebih awal dengan tagline-nya, "Big Meets Bigger".

Sinopsis Film Rampage
Film Rampage bercerita ihwal seorang pakar primata berjulukan Davis Okoye (Dwayne Johnson) yang menjalin kekerabatan bersahabat dengan gorilla putih berjulukan George semenjak lahir. Akan tetapi, eksperimen genetik yang tak terkendali merubah gorila lembut tersebut menjadi monster besar penghancur.
Tak hanya George, eksperimen yang sama telah mensugesti hewan-hewan predator lain menyerupai Ralph, serigala abu-abu dan Lizzie, buaya Amerika. Okoye dan para ilmuan lainnya harus mencari obat penawar untuk menghentikan Ralph dan Lizzie dari menghancurkan sebagian besar Amerika dan juga menyelamatkan makhluk yang dulunya yaitu temannya. Serta mencari tahu siapa dalang dibalik mutasinya para hewan.

Primatologist Davis Okoye (Johnson), a man who keeps people at a distance, shares an unshakable bond with George, the extraordinarily intelligent, silverback gorilla who has been in his care since birth. But a rogue genetic experiment gone awry mutates this gentle ape into a raging creature of enormous size. To make matters worse, it’s soon discovered there are other similarly altered animals. As these newly created alpha predators tear across North America, destroying everything in their path, Okoye teams with a discredited genetic engineer to secure an antidote, fighting his way through an ever-changing battlefield, not only to halt a global catastrophe but to save the fearsome creature that was once his friend.

"Rampage" is produced by Beau Flynn, John Rickard, Brad Peyton and Hiram Garcia. It marks the third collaboration between Johnson, Peyton and Flynn, following the blockbuster hit "San Andreas."
