Telah dikonfirmasi kalau judul lagu "Winnie the Pooh" karya dari Richard M. Sherman dan Robert B. Sherman di "The Many Adventures of Winnie the Pooh" (1997) akan menjadi soundtrack film Christopher Robin.
Film Christopher Robin mengadaptasi karakter-karakternya dari buku Winnie the Pooh yang dirilis pada tahun 1926 karya dari A. A. Milne dan E. H. Shepard. Christopher Robin sendiri diambil dari nama anaknya A. A. Milne yang berjulukan Christopher Robin Milne.
Selaku pihak pendistributor, Walt Disney Studios Motion Pictures telah menjadwalkan film Christopher Robin akan tayang serentak pada awal bulan Agustus dengan tagline-nya "Sooner or later, your past catches up to you".

Film Christopher Robin bercerita perihal seorang anak lelaki berjulukan Christopher Robin yang telah melaksanakan petualangan andal di Hundred Acre Wood bersama Winnie si beruang bijak, Tigger si harimau, Piglet si babi mungil, Eeyore si keledai, Kangan dan Roo, si ibu dan anak kangguru serta Owl dan Rabbit.
Saat Christopher telah tumbuh remaja menjadi seorang pengusaha dan tinggal di London bersama istrinya, Evelyn (Hayley Atwell) dan juga putrinya, Madeline (Bronte Carmichael). Dia kehilangan arah dan tak menemukan kebahagiaan lagi dalam hidupnya. Sekarang saatnya Winnie dan kawan-kawannya untuk membantu sobat masa kecilnya dahulu semoga menemukan kembali kegembiraan hidup, nilai persahabatan dan untuk menghargai kesenangan sederhana dalam hidup untuk sekali lagi.
