Father Figures atau yang dikenal dengan judul lainnya Who's Your Daddy? merupakan film komedi garapan Lawrence Sher, seorang sinematografer yang menyutradarai film ini, sebelumnya Lawrence terlibat dalam film The Hangover trilogy.
Selaku pendistributor, Warner Bros Pictures bekerja sama dengan Alcon Entertainment dan The Montecito Picture Company mempercayakan film ini pada Ali Bell (Hitchcock, Triplets), Broderick Johnson (Point Break, Blade Runner 2049), Andrew A. Kosove (12 Strong, Darkmounth), Tom Pollock (Disturbia, Draft Day) dan Ivan Reitman (Ghostbusters, Baywatch) untuk mengarahkan film komedi ini selaku produser.
Film Father Figures yang sebelumnya diberi judul Bastards mengikuti perjalanan Kyle yang diperankan oleh Owen Wilson (Wonder, Dolphins) dan Peter Reynolds, diperankan oleh Ed Helms (The Clapper, Tag) yang bertekad mencari ayah kandung mereka. Namun sang ibu yang diperankan oleh Glenn Close (Warcraft, Crooked House) tidak sanggup yakin siapa laki-laki yang menghamilinya bertahun-tahun lalu.
Dugaannya bertuju pada keempat laki-laki yang diperankan oleh J.K Simons (Justice League, La La Land), Chirstopher Walken (The Jungle Book, The War with Grandpa), Ving Rhames (Death Race trilogy, Mission Impossible 6) dan Terry Bradshaw (Robots, Failure to Lunch).
Turut serta pemain lainnya menyerupai Katt Williams (The Obama Effect, School Dance), Harry Shearer (Flood Streets, Mascots), Retta (To the Bone, Where's the Money), Katie Aselton (The Gift, Book Club) dan Brian Huskey (Neighbors 2, The Disaster Artist) yang akan berperan sesuai skenario dari Justin Malen (Office Christmas Party, Sherlock Holmes 3) selaku penulis alur cerita.
Dengan taglinenya, "Are you our daddy?" Film yang mencari figure seorang ayah ini akan tayang perdana diakhir bulan Desember sebagai jajaran film epilog simpulan tahun 2017.

Sinopsis Film Father Figures
Father Figures menceritakan perihal Kyle dan Peter Reynolds yang merupakan dua bersaudara yang gres mengetahui jikalau ibu mereka, Helen Baxter telah berbohong kepada mereka selama bertahun-tahun perihal ayah mereka yang telah meninggal. Mengetahui jikalau sang ayah masih hidup, mereka berusaha untuk menemukannya. Namun terdapat kendala, masa kemudian ibunya menciptakan hal ini menjadi sulit. Ia telah tidur dengan banyak orang kaya, populer dan berkuasa di tahun 1970an.
Kedua bersaudara tersebut kemudian melaksanakan perjalanan untuk mengetahui siapa ayah mereka bahwasanya dan mencari tahu lebih banyak perihal ibu mereka. Pada jadinya semua tertuju pada empat pria, yakni Ronald Hunt, Terry Bradshaw, Dr. Tinkler dan Rod Hamilton. Dapatkah mereka menemukan sosok ayah kandung yang selama ini tak pernah ada untuk mereka?

Owen Wilson ("The Grand Budapest Hotel," "Zoolander 2") and Ed Helms ("The Hangover" films, "We’re the Millers") star in the Alcon Entertainment comedy "Father Figures," marking the directorial debut of veteran cinematographer Lawrence Sher ("The Hangover" films).
Wilson and Helms are Kyle and Peter Reynolds, brothers whose eccentric mother raised them to believe their father had died when they were young. When they discover this to be a lie, they set out together to find their real father, and end up learning more about their mother than they probably ever wanted to know.
The film also stars Oscar winner J.K. Simmons ("Whiplash"), comedian Katt Williams, NFL Hall of Fame quarterback-turned-actor Terry Bradshaw, Ving Rhames (the "Mission Impossible" films), Harry Shearer ("The Simpsons"), and Oscar nominee June Squibb ("Nebraska"), with Oscar winner Christopher Walken ("The Deer Hunter"), and Oscar nominee Glenn Close ("Albert Nobbs," "Guardians of the Galaxy") as the twins’ mother.
Sher directed from a screenplay written by Justin Malen ("Office Christmas Party"). The film was produced by Academy Award nominee Ivan Reitman ("Up in the Air"), Ali Bell ("Draft Day"), and Academy Award nominees Broderick Johnson and Andrew A. Kosove ("The Blind Side"). Serving as executive producers were Tom Pollock, Scott Parish, Chris Cowles, Chris Fenton, and Timothy M. Bourne.
Sher’s behind-the-scenes team included director of photography John Lindley ("St. Vincent"), production designer Stephen H. Carter (art director, "Birdman"), editor Dana E. Glauberman ("Draft Day"), and two-time Oscar nominated costume designer Julie Weiss ("Frida," "Twelve Monkeys"). The music was composed by Rob Simonsen ("Foxcatcher").
"Father Figures" will open in theaters on December 22, 2017.
