Sinopsis Film The Secret Life of Pets :
Berlatar daerah di gedung apartemen di Manhattan, seekor anjing ras Jack Russell Terrier berjulukan Max (Louis C.K) yang merupakan binatang peliharaan favorit dari Katie (Ellie Kemper) merasa posisinya ketika ini terancam sehabis pemiliknya membawa seekor anjing ras Newfoundland yang ceroboh berjulukan Duke (Eric Stonestreet) di apartemennya. Dua anjing dalam satu apartemen, mereka harus menyembunyikan pertengkaran mereka di hadapan Katie, sehabis mereka mengetahui bahwa kelinci putih yang anggun berjulukan Snowball (Kevin Hart) sedang membangun pasukan piaraan yang ditinggalkan oleh pemiliknya dengan julukan "Flushed Pets" yang berencana untuk membalas dendam pada seluruh binatang peliharaan dan para pemiliknya. Sementara itu, seekor anjing ras Pomeranian berjulukan Gidget (Jenny Slate) sedang merombak kelompok piaraan penjahatnya untuk melacak Max.
