The BFG atau The Big Friendly Giant merupakan film yang diubahsuaikan dari novel belum dewasa karya dari Roald Dahl berjudul "The BFG" pada tahun 1982 dan telah diangkat ke serial televisi tahun 1989 dalam versi animasi atau kartun. Di tahun 2016, film ini akan diangkat kelayar lebar atau bioskop dengan versi live-action yang disutradarai oleh Steven Spielberg dan di distribusi oleh Walt Disney Studio dan Motion Pictures dengan genrenya petualangan fantasi. Film ini telah tayang perdana pada bulan awal Juli di USA dengan budget pembuatan filmnya sebesar $140 juta atau sekitar Rp 1.8 trilliun dan telah meraup untung sebagai film box office sebesar $153 juta. Di Indonesia sendiri, film The BFG akan tayang perdana pada tanggal 7 September dengan rating usianya untuk semua umur (SU) . Sinopsis Film The BFG :

Sophie (Ruby Barnhill) merupakan anak insan yang akrab dengan raksasa berjulukan BFG (Mark Rylance) yang telah membawanya kepada raksasa lain pemakan anak-anak.
