Seorang gadis berjulukan Greta (Lauren Cohan) mendapat pekerjaan sebagai pengasuh disebuah desa terpencil di Inggris. sehabis tiba, ia mencar ilmu bahwa anak yang diasuhnya ialah sebuah boneka yang dianggap oleh orang tuanya sebagai anak mereka, tetapi bahwasanya anak mereka telah meninggal 20 tahun yang lalu. sehabis melanggar banyak sekali hukum disana, ia mulai diganggu oleh roh jahat yang membuatnya percaya bahwa boneka tersebut bahwasanya hidup.
