The Legend of Tarzan merupakan film bergenre agresi petualangan yang disutradarai oleh David Yates dan didistribusi oleh Warner Bros Pictures. The Legend of Tarzan juga merupakan film versi live-action pertama yang sebelumnya film ini dibentuk dalam versi animasi dengan judul “Tarzan” di tahun 1999 oleh Walt Disney. Film ini disesuaikan dari novel berjudul “Tarzan of The Apes” yang dibentuk pada tahun 1914 oleh Edgar rice Burroughs. Film Tarzan mempunyai banyak seri seperti: Tarzan of The Apes (1914), Tarzan: The Lost Adventure (1995), Tarzan (1999), Tarzan: The Legend Starts Here (2013), dan The Legend of Tarzan (2016). Film ini akan berbeda dari film-film dan novel-novel terdahulu alasannya yakni di film ini akan menyuguhkan dongeng gres dari Tarzan yang telah hidup di London. selain dari segi cerita, film ini juga akan dikemas dalam versi live-action yang akan menyuguhkan kelebihan dari segi grafiknya. Dengan tagline-nya “Human, Nature” dan budget sebesar $180 juta atau sekitar Rp 2.3 triliun ($1 = Rp 13.000), Film The Legend of Tarzan siap tayang di bioskop kesayangan anda pada awal bulan Juli ditahun 2016 ini.
